The Last 5 Years is a modern musical about two ambitious New Yorkers whose marriage unfolds in opposite timelines (Cathy moving backward as a struggling actress, and Jamie moving forward as a rising writer) revealing love, success, and heartbreak from contrasting perspectives.

Acclaimed by TIME Magazine it’s an intimate, emotionally driven story told entirely through song.

Used multiple moving head fixtures in place of a follow spot to create flexibilty of movement between scenes, lighting the sheer drapes as a cyc to mark time and place as the charaters moved through thier timelines within the story.
